How to make this Black Bean Patty Vegan?
I used a minimal quantity of Parmesan cheese powder you can completely skip or do replace it with any nuts powder to get natural fat in these burgers.
How to make these Patties Gluten Free?
I use store bought bread crumbs and sometimes I replace it with homemade oats powder. So make it gluten free by replacing bread crumbs with oats powder.
Why Black bean Patty mixer turns gooey?
if you are not draining the excess liquid properly it turns gooey. If drained well then addition of oats powder or bread crumbs is less than the provided quantity. If not do add more to bind the mixture.
Does sauteing is necessary?
Saute onion, capsicum in little oil also you can add small quantity of veggies here. Sometimes I don’t Saute capsicums. I directly chop and add in the mixture. It’s up to you how you want. Don’t add too much oil which makes the patties mixture oily and tough to work with.
