- Strawberry Kaju Katli (Store Bought and I love that shape)
- Raw Banana Shallow Fry / Vazhakkai Varuval
- Boiled Sona Masoori Rice
- Pavakkai Vathal Kuzhambu / Dried Bitter Gourd Gravy and
- Homemade Ghee
Pavakkai Vathal Kuzhambu Recipe Description In Short
- Chop the onion, tomato, and sliced garlic.
- Heat oil in a pan, temper fenugreek seeds, followed by garlic.
- Once the garlic turns slightly brown, add onion, tomato, chilis, salt and curry leaves.
- Now add dried bitter gourd slices and spices.
- After a minute of sautéing, add tamarind extract/juice, necessary water, and let the mixture simmer until it reaches a thick consistency.
Vazhakkai Varuval Recipe in short
- Peel raw banana and slice it into thin slices.
- Add rice flour, spices, and salt to it.
- Let it sit for 15 minutes.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a cast iron pan and add the raw banana mixture.
- Flip them once the bottom turns golden brown.
- Once the other side also turns brown, remove from heat.
