Ingredients
Potato – 1 Number (Medium Size)
Fish Fry Masala Powder – 1/2 Tbsp
Bread Crumbs, Salt and Oil – As Needed
Turmeric Powder – 1/4tsp (Optional)
Method
- Pressure cook the halved potato for 2 whistles, cool and mash it well.
- Just toss the fish in dosa pan by flipping both sides (Not necessary to cook completely)
- Remove the thorns/bones and mass it well with your hand.
- Mix mashed Potato, Fish, 2 Tbsp of bread crumbs, Salt and Fish fry masala.
- Make shapes and again coat it with bread crumbs.
- Fry in hot oil.
- Serve with sliced veggies.

Since fish has oil by nature, coats well with bread crumbs and no need to dip in egg mixture.

I use slightly coarse homemade bread crumbs, which apt well for this cutlet and won’t absorb much oil.

If needed add more bread crumbs.
